The Rose & Crown sits in the heart of the picturesque village of Writtle, overlooking the village green.

We are an independant family run pub and restaurant which has been serving Writtle for the last 15 years.

We aim to offer a warm welcome so people continue to come and enjoy what we have to offer.

Home cooked Food available seven days a week, extensive range of real ales, lagers and an ever growing gin and spirit selection. Not to mention the hand picked wine’s we have available.

There is an outside courtyard area leading into a large beer garden for those sunny days.
